How Our Network Works
Request an estimate
Who answers your request
You will talk to an independent provider in our network. Not Specificallycitizens Walk-In Tubs. The provider is a local business that does walk-in tub and shower work in your area.
They run their own schedule and set their own prices. We simply make the introduction.
What the provider may ask you
Expect a few simple questions:
- What kind of project do you have: a tub, a shower, or a swap?
- Who will use it, and do they use a walker or wheelchair?
- How big is the bathroom?
- Do you have a rough budget or timeline?
Photos and measurements help. So does knowing what bothers you most about your current tub.
Request a callback to check provider availability and talk through your project.
Questions worth asking
Ask these. Good providers answer them easily.
- Is the quote in writing? A good answer is yes, with the full scope listed.
- What could change the price? Look for a clear answer about floors, plumbing, or wall repairs.
- Are you licensed and insured where required? Ask for proof.
- Who does the work, you or a subcontractor?
- What does the warranty cover, and who honors it?
- How long will the bathroom be out of use?
Red flags
Be careful if a provider:
- Pushes you to sign on the spot.
- Will not put the price in writing.
- Asks for a large payment up front.
- Dodges questions about insurance.
You can say no and keep looking.
You stay in charge
Requesting an estimate does not lock you in. You can compare quotes. You can ask for another provider. Take your time. Check your policy too. Some policies may cover sudden damage, but a bathing upgrade is usually not part of that.
